Amish Prayers" is a
collection of prayers that were translated from "Die Ernsthafte
Christenpflicht," a German prayer book that dates to 1708. All of the
prayers are beautiful, powerful and deeply meaningful. They are an expression
of profound faith, and there is nothing simple or simplistic about them. The
prayers are profound, spiritual, and open the heart to God. This is a
great book for personal devotions. While we don’t need rote prayers to bring u
into God’s presence, these prayers are all very meaningful and spoke to my
heart.
