This story is a continuation of When Mercy Rains and this
book is number 2 in the Zimmerman Restoration series. Book 1 deals with Suzy
Zimmerman's return to her family with the daughter she raised (Alexa) and
seeing for the first time since birth her own illegitimate daughter that had
been adopted by a cousin.
Kim Sawyer has a gift of words. She makes you feel like you
know the characters and you can visualize the places. I loved this book and
highly recommend the series. As this is the second book in a trilogy, many
threads are left unresolved at the end of the novel, The theme of the book is “God's
grace is a precious gift. I think grace is the purest form of mercy, offered
even when it's undeserved or rejected."
