"REFINING FIRE" is historic suspenseful romance in
a 1889 Seattle, Washington harbor setting. The story centers around 4 main
characters, Militine Scott, Abrianna Cunningham, Thane Patton and Wade. The story
line is a Bridal school where girls can come to be trained in the ways of
housekeeping. Then prospective suitors pay to go to receptions put on by these
girls and learn to know them and hopefully find a wife. A different way of life
from today. I enjoyed reading this book and learning the history of this time
period.
