Mothering From Scratch: Finding the Best Parenting Style for You and Your Family

Find Your Own Mothering Style

Trying to follow someone else's rules for mothering can take the joy out of being a parent. ButMothering From Scratch shows you how to develop your own style that helps you be the best mom foryour kids.

Full of solid biblical truth, this book will help you
· explore your personality and examine your strengths and weaknesses in order to find what works for you
· tap into the resources surrounding you and get mentoring and support from other moms
· push past the fear of change or doing it wrong and allow room for grace in your mothering
I enjoyed the practicalness of this book. I thought the authors gave much hope to moms in their daily job of being the best moms that they can be. At the end of each chapter, there are thought-provoking questions and suggested action plans to put in practice. As long as we are living according to biblical convictions, we have freedom to create our own unique style of parenting based on how God made us and our children and not based on how someone else is doing it.
This book was provided by Bethany House Publishers in exchange for my unbiased review.
