Doug Fields has been a speaker and leader for over 30 years. He is a graduate of Vanguard University, and has received his MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary. He served at South Coast Community Church (now Mariners Church), in Newport Beach, CA for 11 years before he moved to be the youth and teaching pastor at Saddleback Church (Lake Forest, CA), where he was on staff for 19 years.

Since 2011 Doug has been the executive director at HomeWord's Center for Youth and Family at Azusa Pacific University. In addition to his youth work, he also writes and speaks on Marriage, Family & Parenting.
