Friday Night Sew In

Pictured below are some projects that I sew during the Friday Night Sew In. Now to finish them this week. :)

This was a project that i have had cut out for 4 years. Time to get it quilted and up for the holidays or maybe give it as a gift to my mom.

Not happy with the borders on these two table runners. i think the borders needed to be darker. Oh well.... Maybe dark binding will help or i may applique wool snowflakes on the borders to break up the color. The borders aren't really wavy. Taking a picture on the floor.

  1. The Christmas top is very pretty! And I think adding a couple of snowflakes to the snowmen would be nice. I always like snowmen!

  3. The quilt is wonderful. And your table runners are cute. The green one looks fine to me (then again, I love green, so anything in green looks good to me :) ), and the red has the stripes that breaks the colour a bit...I think only link binding, like you said, nothing else.

  15. Hi Brenda,

This is Teresa from Fabric Therapy...congratulations! You have won a 7 x 7 album with extra pages. I had so many lovely responses that I found a second prize to award so that I could have 2 drawings! If you would send me your snail mail address to my email listed below, I will send out your prize the first week of March. Normally I would email you, but I am out of town right now, away from my email and borrowing a computer. It was fun to see your blog (CUTE snowman project!).

    In stitches,
    Teresa
